Brands of aftermarket shocks?
#1
I am looking to get a list of atv utility shock manufacturers. I am currently interested in perhaps putting some new shocks on my BF750 to ease the tippyness. I have already looked into Elkan but a set is $2000. What other good shock manufacturers are out there????

Works makes a set for the BF, one of the magazines put a set of them on their project brute and were very pleased with the results.
As for the price tag, dont expect it to get a whole lot cheaper, at least not much lower than 1500. You should feel lucky, a good set of 2 front shocks can run about that much for a sport quad.

Face it, those IRS bikes have their advantages, but the price you pay is that they are going to be tippsy. Are the stock shocks at all adjustable? If so, stiffent them up and see if that helps. By going to stiffer shocks, you are going to make the bike have a rougher ride. Try Works Performance for aftermarket. They should be able to custom make you a set of stiffies, if that is the way you want to go.
