I just walked in the door from the 2000 Ironman GNCC race.It was a huge race with plenty of good riding.Matt Smiley was first William Yokley was second and Chad Duvall got third. If you were there what did you think about it?I thought it was a great time.

The mudflies from Blackwater were out in force at the water crossing by the bridge. Without there help I would never have made it up the bank after crossing the water. The ruts were very deep and it took 2 of them to pull me up the bank. Had a great time, even though I was last off of the starting line.

Where you on the blue 250r that flipped before the first corner?? I seen that - I also got wrecked in the start of the C class. 3 nice shiners to show for it! 6 miles in I knocked my back left tire off the bead - BAD DEAL!! Lot's of fun anyway!!

One of the guy's that ride with us, was on the blue 400ex at the start. He pushed his steering stem back to the tank and he was not able to turn to the left very much. He did make one lap. I am sure glad that it did not rain or we would not have made it though some places.

I placed fifth in the utility unlimited class and had a ball. Put it in 4x4 and pushed a couple of Banshees out of mud holes and up the ravines. No problems at the river crossing by the bridge. Heavy as hell through the trees.
