My daugher is complaining on the power of this machine. I purchased and airsal 70cc cylinderkit. The bike has increased power on the bottom and that is it. I have also changed the CDI box. Im looking to put a K&N filter on it, re-jet the bike, and install boyseen reeds. I was looking to plug the injector and run pre-mixed fuel. With what I have mentioned, good idea or not. A pipe definately is on the list of upgrades. Your input is highly recommended.

I'm teasing. Welcome to the forum! Take the time to go thru as many of the strings as you can. I have gained quite a bit from the guys on this site. When we were on the phone I mentioned a string that referanced a proper feul mix. i think it is in a string from "bigdumbfun".
Don't forget to remind me about those jets in my truck tonight.

You didn't mention wich Polaris 50 it is.. is it a Scrambler or a Predator? Lots of parts for the Scrambler 50s, and some for the Predator 50 now also.
The Filter and reeds are a good start... the 70 Kit, if its not properly ported, you may want to have that done.
A Pipe is a must have to get power out of these.. the stock Pipe is junk. Get a WRH Pipe from Billy Holt (www.wrhracing.com and www.wrhracing.net). Also get a larger carb before you rejet... we run a Kehin PE 20mm carb... the stock carb would run dry on WOT. Lighten up the roller weights and the clutch (or better yet, get a lightened perfomance clutch) and change the springs.
Have you changed any gearing yet? We run a 19T front sprocket from a Scrambler 90 and 25T/27T/29T (depends on the track) in the rear.
Now that ya got all that power, get some extended a-arms and some real shocks (like a set of Elkas).
Figure out how to hide the receipts from the wife, too.

On a different forum, I remember reading about a Pred-50 that was turned into an instant wheelie machine. Something about "night & day" difference from stock. Sorry, can't remember its upgrade details but I do remember it was modded by Billy Holt at WRH Racing. And its parts will soon be available on his Web site. As a suggestion, give Billy a call. If he isn't pinned down from Katrina's Clean Up tasks, he can provide you more details on how to Power Up the Polaris 50. His contact details are: http://www.wrhracing.net/contact_us
Hope this helps....

hey guys thanks for the info, this helps alot. I will have to hide the reciepts for sure. Half of the parts are here. Once things are bolted together I will give you all an update.
Mike, your the reason for all of this. You have forced me to get this thing dialed. Be careful what you ask for. LOL!!!!

guys, the bike is fast. So fast we had a little boo boo that ended the day. The clutch needs to be changed like yesterday. Once this is done we will have a true race ready machine. We have a true wheelie machine.
