Default History of a yamaha yfm 350 moto 4?

hi, i am going this weekened to buy a 1988 yamaha moto-4 350. The guy sent me pictures and it is perfect. Well, he is taking $1100 so i am going to pay him that. I just was wondering if any one knows anything about this beast? thanks

They are solid bikes. Not fast, ride kinda hard, but very durable. The manual drum brakes suck. Check the front wheels for play, the plastic bushes in the kingpin type setup wear quick if not kept greased.

I had an 88 YFM 200 and an 85 YFM225 which are the same basic bike as yours.
