I was just wondering the 2006 Raptor 700R owners' are happy so far with their quad. So, are the Raptor 700R owners happy?

Thanks,
John Mayor

I love mine. If someone whats a fast stock quad you can't beat it. Its an all around perfect quad. The only bad thing is waiting for the aftermarket to catch up. I know what to do with a 660 but this EFI is going to be a new learning process for me.

I agree. I have over 400 miles on mine and no problems yet.
2 trips to LS Utah, a 220 mile 2 day ride acrossed the desert. and a trip to the mountains, well above 10,000 ft.

Not even a backfire so far.

I trail ride over 75% of the time and dune the rest, the YFZ wasnt even a option for me. I also am 6'5 and 240 The yfz is small for me.
I am very happy with the choice I made.
Even selling my DS730.

Aftermarket to catch up? you aren't kidding there, heck, you can't even get different sprockets, I'm not ever sure you can get stock sprockets yet.

I can imagine it feels small for you, probably very small, I'm 6'2, 210 and it feels small to me.

I am absolutely happy with my choice of the 700r. I rode the 400ex and I really liked that machine. I made it all it could be,, 440 etc..etc.. I really like the way it handles on the trails.. Mine was aftermarket suspension and a +2 swingarm.. It was also good at the dunes..

Well, the first time I just sat on the 700r, I said it felt like the 400ex. .. After many miles on mine now. trails, mountains, desert, and sand, I still think it feels alot like the 400ex but with much more power. It was the right choice for me......... And no jetting is a major plus...

The rear sprocket is the same as the YFZ450.
