Raptor connecting rods and oil tanks

Just checking, I've been out of this forum for awhile. When last I was into riding ( before surgery on both hands) I was considering a trans update and connecting rod for my Raptor. I've got an 01 on it's stock trans ( yes it really did hold up ) it's a 686cc 12.5:1 JE piston with P&P, and 35mm Keihen FCRs. No BS, my dyno sheet is posted in the gallery. Anyhow when I last checked in the Carrillo rod was the only way to go but nowadays I'm seeing the Hot Rods on ebay and elsewhere. Any opinions on whether or not they're worthwhile or should I consider spending cash on the Carrillo?
Also I have the dreaded leaky oil tank. I'm considering the CFM that's often on ebay but dont know if it'll clear my sparks pipe and denton stabilizer. Any info here?

Carrillo rod is probably the most popular and cheapest way around the dinky rod in the Raptor, as far as the oil tank, seen alot of people re-locate it the the rear and then you gain more options

Thats alot of mods to still be running on your stock 01 tranny and rod! I'm impressed, you should consider yourself lucky lol! I highly suggest Carrillo, but other competing rods hold up just as well if not better. I recently noticed that I have a leaky oil tank also so I replaced it with CFM, but it's still in the mail. I've heard alot of good about CFM, mostly for their awesome quality welds and reliability. You might want to consider getting those updated tranny gears too, you never know when those dogs are gonna break and when they do it's very expensive.
