Default electric fan, best deal

I have a 2001 Sportsman 500 & the electric fan is starting to make noise. A new one from Polaris is $ 200.00.
Does anyone know where you can get one for less money?

If there is a local place that rebuilds starters and other automotive electrical parts they may be able to rebuild it fairly cheap.

Sorry to hijack, but does anyone know where to get a radiator for less than what the dealer wants? Partsland seems to be a few dollars cheaper, but not much. I bent mine up pretty good a few months ago and am hoping to just find a cheaper one. Still works fine, but the fans on a little more often.

Try taking the fan off and looking at the Brand Name. There should be a name on the fan somewhere. Then do a search for it on the net. SPAL mabe? Maybe someone else knows. You should eventually find the actual company website who makes them for Polaris. Had to use a few different search engines, google, yahoo, msn, etc but eventually found it. I was ready to buy one a few months back, but remembered I had insurance to cover the repair and let my dealer do it himself.
