How can companies copy atvs and just put there logos on it and not get in trouble? could suzuki sue them if they wanted to?

 

Suzuki makes the kawasaki and the dvx.

 

Kawa and Suzuk both signed an alliance if you will. Kawasaki gave Suzuki a couple of mini MX bikes and Suzuki gave Kawasaki the KFX50/80/400. Kawa got the better deal. Idon't know about ACat.

 

The vast majority of the engines Arctic cat uses are Suzuki engines - sleds, atvs, etc. So zuki took it upon themselves to offer it up to AC as well.

Zuki and AC also got Kawi's v-twin utility engine, Zuki just rebadged it the Twin Peaks while AC threw the engine in their big IRS ute.

 

They merged technologically and economically if you will for a period of time to avoid bankruptcy, I believe. Now they are separate and you can see suzuki and kawasaki changing it up with the bruteforce and kingquad line ups. As for the there 450 racers coming out they are gonna be completely diff also including engine. As for the minis that suzuki gave kawasaki, they are pulling them from next years production and introducing their own.
