Default 800 pipe jetting???

Ok everyone with the 800 piped sp700 carb.

What is your jetting?
With or without 800 snorkle?

I am going to start with a 170 main and POSSIBLY raise the needle 1 clip position.
(move the clip down one notch)

Thanks,

Jim

I put my 162.5 back in but I think need to moving the needle clip down one like you said or go up on the piolt jet as it cools off here think it is a little lean on bottomend have 2002 sp700 with 800 header and snorkle on.

LOL, when I first saw the title I laughed. I was thinking jetting for an 800 with a pipe, not jetting for a pipe off an 800.

My 02 also has the 162.5 in stock, was told that might work with the stock intake but will try 170 and work down if need be, i plan on riding in the winter here in MI.

anyone else? 70003, Olman???

Thanks,
Jim

I have changed jet so many times I have about forgot which size I have in it lol. I think I have the 167.5 mj but I also have the Dynojet needle which is smaller in diameter comapared to the stock needle which makes it richer. I will check my jets and see which one is missing that will tell me which one I have in.
