Any open-class races in CA?

You may need to check classes for these - I know Mutant will take the 660, but you will have to run on a track in between bike motos
Theres several others that you may want to check into- there are local races. It just depends want kind of racing you want to run- I'm guessing you want to run flat track or TT- Check out Lodi Cycle Bowl they run TT, Theres CMA - They run TT /Flat track in San Jose, Madera, and Tulare. Mutant Runs MX next race is this coming Sat at Carneige. CMC runs a series in Marysville and one race will be at Club Moto. If you want drag racing - I'don't know much where they run that kinda of thing, except for Glamis and Pismo
If the ATV Extravganza in Primm is up and running in Oct. They will have Drags-
Good luck

There are a bunch other places you can race too- The ITP - Glen Helen runs an open class (MX) Maxxis Racetown 395 (MX), BITD desert -
also Chowchilla is running quads on an oval track -
-you should check out the different races and see which one you might like doing. Then talk to a few of the racers, find out what they have on theit quads and how much $$ you are looking at- By the look of it- if you are serious about racing you are going to have to add some suspension to your bike. If you run MX you will need long travel front and a rear suspension, also with TT-
Desert race enduros- need larger gas tank suspension - etc.
Just - go check out some of these and see what you want to do-
good luck

Yeah my buddy from merced powersports helped get that TT in chowchilla going. I would rather go to those to watch and drink some beer. Im not too crazy about flat track. It would be pretty cool to get some kind of endurance/relay type of thing goin on like at the san juaquin river by dos palos, or hollister, carnegie.
