Default Yamaha Bruin 350 4X4 Automatic

Is the Yamaha Bruin 350 4X4 Automatic good enough to pull an atv trailer with up to 5 large tree stumps? Is it reliable and how does it hold up with others' in it's class? Any reviews?

Be careful, It can probably pull it in low real slow, but be carefull going down hill, you might jackknife. I jackknifed going down a very steep dirt trail with only about 900 lbs of gravel. I recked the trailer and almost flipped the quad. I think I didn't flip the quad because my quad weighs a ton. The Yamaha Bruin is very light.

If youre just gonna be on flat , hard packed ground, itll do fine. But if you try to start out on a hill, or try to stop coming down a hill...its gonna be working hard. Too bad the bruin doesnt have a low range, that would help alot.

It'll do fine. I used to pull some very heavy loads of dirt with a TrailBoss 250 and it handled them fine without a low range. Like hondabuster said long hillclimbs might put a hurt on it but short hills and flat ground will be no problem. I don't know of many reviews might try powersportsnetwork.com. My brother in law just bought a 2wd version and he is very happy.

I've had a Bruin for almost a year now. They are very reliable machines. I pull my 17-foot bowrider around my yard from time to time...you know there's weight there, but they do it. I also pull an ATV Coach (around 475-lbs with kids) with no trouble on all but the steepest trails.

As already stated, flat ground and/or intermittent severe use as described will probably be okay. If you'll be doing this every day and/or having to go up or down substantial hills towing the trailer, I'd strongly recommend something with low range.
