lt 50 top speed
#2
I don't remember what the gov't limit is on this size, but for next size range I believe it's 30. Probably around 20. This was the first quad I had. Pretty good for little kids. My dad made us read the manual before we were allowed to ride on our own. Me and my brother ended up taking the washer out of the exhaust when my dad was gone and taking the screw out of the throttle. We lived out in the country so we'd get left home quite a bit when they went grocery shopping, or went to the hardware store. They just took my little brother and sister. We'd jam a rock in where the tether cord goes because they'd take it with them. If you get your kids one, don't teach them how to work on things. We HAD to help my dad work on cars and equipment, so even at 6 it was pretty easy to remove that washer. I was 12 when I split the cases on my kd 80 and changed the shift fork.
