If your quad is stock, getting that kind of speed out of it is almost impossible, stock top end is about 54mph, you are trying to get 15 or more on the top end, you will have almost no bottom end, and it will take forever to get wound out. Also, it is a fairly narrow and short wheelbase quad, at that speed, it would start to get twitchy and handling would get dangerous. My son runs 400ex a arms and shocks up front, with a set of spacers on the back, this keeps him more stable at speed, and with his pipe and modded air box with a 1000+ rpm cdi, he keeps up with my Wolverine, which tops at about 58 or so. I'm not saying it's impossible to get that speed, but you will need engine power to get there, the rpms to keep the speed, and suspension to keep you safe at that speed.

I put a K&N air filter on my girl friends lil brothers 300ex and i never had to jet it it ran lean so i called the dealer and they said i had 2 options either jet up, or take the air box lid off and try it and if that didn't work take the box off (witch we did take it off he races a bunch of his friends and cousins) so it was better to take it off and get more air just mean cleaning the filter more often

Thanks. I have the airbox but cut part of the top open and I am getting a lean condition. I'll try going up one on the main and see.

Will do thanks.

Does anyone know what the stock main jet size is? I found it on the internet once but can't find it again. I guess the stealer would know.
