I cant seem to kind a UNI filter for my dads Mag 500. I lot of places carry the K&N but I he wants a UNI. Any idea where I can get one.

BTW...Dennis Kirk doesnt list them either.

Shadetree outdoors has them for around $23 plus shipping. You can call them at 1-888-shadetree. I think if you check, the Mag 500 takes the same type filter as the sp500 models with the cylinder type filter. They also have a technical help department if you have any questions. Be sure to order some foam filter oil while your at it.

 

Thanks MudMan. I just called Shadetree. They list it but it is on backorder and they couldnt give me an idea when they might get some. The search continues.

Sorry I couldn't resist. Based on looking at the Shadetree catalog, the 500 Mag takes the same air filter as the 500 Sp. It should be the round cylinder type. I know Dennis Kirk doesn't list one for the 500 Mag, but just order the one for the Sp, they should be the same.

 

I got mine from Ritter Cycle. Had it on hand, but I think the 500 takes a different one then my 400 did. Might be worth a try. Check their website @ rittercycle.com or call 618-644-3211. Don't forget the oil, they come dry.
