Default oil filter

im looking through my book for my 400 ex cuz i needed a spark plug and stuff and i was gonna change the oil and filter but it doesn't have a part number for the filter or mention of a filter


n e help?

Default oil filter

Fram CH6015, from the local auto parts store. They are on the shelf at the stores around here.

fram filters are the worst piles of crap ever made.

Wix 24944, and Purolator ml16815, also work.

Generally this is true. Especially with their car oil filters.

Their M/C stuff is usually outsourced from other suppliers and seems to be pretty good. Infact the Fram filter that fits my Mojave has the same #'s stamped on it as the OE filter.

I won't run a Fram on my Jeep though!
