Default a different approach for scrammy winch install

so i decided i wanted a winch on my scrammy, but i dont like the front bumpers that polaris made, which are hard to find anyways. warn makes the rear mount kit, but i have a rear rack, so that option was out. so i decided to make use of the space under the hood of my 500 scrammy. and whadda know! the warn 1.5 fits perfect inside the front plastics!!! i made a custom mounting plate and added the roller fairlead as well. i cut a hole in my hood to allow for the roller failead. its almost like it was made to fit in there, its fit so well.

now i have a winch that is protected from the elelments, instead of having one out in the open to get all covered in mud.

heres a link to some pics of my install:

check em out!

it would werk for the 400 scrambler if you deleted the oil injection and ran premix gas.

That's perfect! When are you going to start selling the mounting plates. I'll buy two today.

Definately sweet. If there was an award for mod of the year that would win.

Seriously though, you should consider selling those mouting plates. Let us know how it works.
