2004- 700, which one of the clutch kit out there would you recommend.?
#1
i've seen and read about 5 different kits out there for our 700's. of them all which one regardless of price offers reliable performance.?
i'm after more bit to the tires right as i leave from a stop rather then the stock (fade-in pull) that we have stock. i know with dialing in the correct settings you have to factor in what mods your 700 has. i have an aftermarket exhaust, k/n filter and will move to 26" tires all around this week..
do i have to mess with the secondary at all or can my gains be found in just the primary clutch.?
any ideas help will be appreciated. thanks, joe

Joe, I've been doing the same research that you have over the past week. I am really leaning toward the heelclicker. Check out this website if you haven't already. Atvquadsquad Then scroll down to the HeelClicker section. It has a lot of info that I hadn't found anywhere else.

Joe, I just noticed that you have rear passenger pegs on your 700. Where did you get them or did you make them. If you made them, can you send me some pics. My wife keeps complaining, and wants me to put a set on, but you know that isn't one of my top priorities on my 700.

big red,
where did you see my pic.? i'm trying to post them but i'm keep getting the reply; file is too big. so i must resize my photos .
the rear pass frame/folding pegs is a kit that i found from a web-site in canada. it arrived in just a few days and went on with no problems. they, the company calls it a rear fender protector kit, so i see how it can be both, i GOT to get some pics posted so you can see my ride and how its set up. i'll write back here in a sec with that web-site for you, joe
*** my bud here in huntsville wants to know how much for your 500 h.o.? he's ready to buy now if the price is right, he's been shopping around here for weeks now.

I haven't seen any pictures of your 700, I just saw that you had them in your post.
About the 500HO. It still has one year of factory warranty on it. It only has 171 miles on it. The first service has already been done. The tires and wheels are practically brand new. I have only rode on them one time. I do also still have the factory tires and wheels that are trully brand new. He can decide if he wants both sets or which set he would rather have. I do have a set of 2" spring spacers on the front. The red 500 in the pictures is the actual one that I'm selling. So all that you see on it, is what you get(but it isn't faded like it looks in those pics). If it sounds or looks like something he would want, please tell him to email me.

Once the moderators have looked at your pictures to make sure you don't have any naked women laying on your 700, they will release them and that will automaticly put the camera icon up for you.
The spring spacers aren't that bad once you figure out which wrenches you need. If you take off your plastic, it would be a whole lot easier, but I'm just to lazy to do that. I think it is a 10mm on the very top to keep the strut from twisting while you loosen it up from the frame with a 19mm?, I believe. You don't have to put the spring compressors on till you get it out off the frame. Then you compress it before you take off the top nut because thats the one that is holding the compression of the spring.
