Does anybody know of a tachometer that would work on a 1994 300ex, and Iwould nead a 10,000 rpm tach. I tried the autometer ds650 tach and it doesn't work because the cdi signal is like 4 times stronger from 300ex than the ds650 and just tops out the tach instantly so the tach from the ds650 that autometer makes is a no go. I do not want a digital led lcd type tach I want a needle guage tach but I would settle for a digital type tach as a last resort, as of right now I don' t know of a digital or needle type tach for the 300ex, it would have to be something compatible with the 300ex cdi system new or used, any info is appreciated. Well that confirms that thought. Did you have to buy the tach or did someone you know let you try theirs. I have seen a tach for a jr dragster in Jeg's and summit wich is also for a single cylinder. But the add states for briggs and stratten only?????? Search the threads because I think I seen where someone else asked the same. It's either in the honda forums or bombardier. RUSS
