I think they should bring them back. I can only think how fast they could make them.

The fact that no enterprising company has ever made a 4 to 3 wheeler conversion should tell you something.

Amen. They are just as stable as a 4-wheeler when ridden corectly. And a hell of a lot lighter and quicker.

I think the biggest problem with 3 wheelers was people not knowing how to ride them or riding beyond their capabilities. There's no "fudge factor". You can't lean them, obviously, and the front behaves more like a bike. You gotta use a lot more body english to ride them properly. If you try to turn fast without shifting your weight, they'll want to high side like a bike when you try to turn instead of lean.
I think they're a blast and much easier to ride wheelies and side wheelies, but they do require a lot more skill. I wouldn't get rid of my quad for one, but if I found an old atc250r or 200x real cheap I'd probably pick it up.

Yea and their probably pretty smart not to. If they did, they wouldn't be in buisness very long. Liability control drives everything these days including technology. In the old days they'd say "Hey I got an idea!" and slap something together. Now, they've got to put so much r&d and testing into everything. That's probably why there isn't so much inovation these days. A lot more people got hurt back then, but the speed in which technology progressed was a lot faster.

Wish I could come across a nice 350x.

I would trade my 400ex for one in mint condition.
