Are we getting robbed?

Why are snowmobiles light years ahead of atvs as far as technology goes? Sleds have powerfull two stroke engines with power-valves,automatic temp. and altitude compensators, throttle position sensors, efi, modules to change your ignition timing, lots of aluminum, carbon fiber and so many other features. I think we're getting the short end of the stick here. The government can't b-tch about the speed of these new atvs. the fastest atv probably goes about 75 or so, and your average sled goes at least 100. Lot less traction on snow than on dirt or tar, so an atv stops alot better. What do you guys think?

Im with 1QuickEX on this one.Quad riders are certainly getting jacked.Snowmobilers may be only able to ride 3-4 months out of the year, but they DONT have to be on a designated trail like ATVers do.They can ride the right shoulder of allmost all County roads in Michigan, thats alot of riding.
ATVs?We must be on a designated ATV trail or we get fined severely. Our rights are not the same as the snowmobilers.
As far as technology goes, the snow guys are way ahead of the ATVs,

the sled guys get special trails through feilds, even tho it ruins the hay for the next year. they can ride in the shoulders of roads, they have free rain. its always fun to get into a powerslide competintoin to the lake with them tho.. mabey they get all the access becouse they only have 5 weeks to ride...
