Changed my clutch and now it makes a noise.
#1
Have a 93 Kawasaki Bayou KLF 400, 4x4 and the primary clutch was slipping real bad. I removed it and the discs were gone. Got another one from a friend who was using it in his (which worked fine). Installed it in mine and no slip but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it makes a chirping noise. When I first started it up it was real loud. The more it ran the quieter it got. But now it's at the point where I don't think it's gonna get quieter. If I give it a little gas it seems to go away. But at idle and some above idle it sound like crap. Chirp, chirp, chirp. When I installed the other primary clutch I oiled it up just like the manual said. Any ideas?

mine has done the same thing..it is on mine at least only the "chirp" the belt makes as the clutch spins and the rubbing of the belt as the clutch goes round,, i bet that it doesnt do it in nutruel.....
