Cute, and with some good points. But just comparing each machine to one other bike doesnt cut it. You need to include all of the players in the category, not just the one that you can make the biggest case against.

so who would you have then compare against maddog??
i would like to see the 500 vs the suzuki vinson and the 800 vs the outlander
people will say that polaris was afraid to show against the BRP but i bet it wasent out when this was filmed...

I'm sure the 4wd acceleration test would have looked a little different in the 700 class if Polaris had included the 700 Prairie instead of racing a factory limited machine.
I also noted the discrepancy in testing. The same points were not necessarily tested or shown for each matchup. Sometimes towing was compared, other times not. And while some people cite the ability to control the use of a differential lock as a plus, polaris strikes it down as an inconvenience each time. Even with the Kodiak 450 which pops over the 4wd test rack just as easily and quickly as the sportsman 450 after both are switched into full 4wd.
I dont deny that Polaris has some valid points, but I do feel that their conveyance of them is significantly more biased and slighted than the comparisons put together by BRP on their site.

Why not compare it to the Rubicon with the same engine size and an automatic transmission? I also thought it in bad taste to include the picture of the 03 foreman on the showdown page instead of the updated 04/05/06 models. I also agree that the vinson would be a most necessary addition to this comparison.

what I really liked were the parts that always made polaris great on sales....their features...the Polaris On-Demand AWD is a true AWD...ALL WHEEL DRIVE...
And also...you better go back and look at that test again, that is a brand new Honda Foreman ES, a 2006 model.....its not an older model, not even close....
I loved the video's, great comparisons and shows the real features why I bought my Sportsman...you won't see me commenting on other forums about their machines, but when someone comes here from there, its amazing the comments....and not even accurate

I agree with some of your points, but I think the perfectly paired the machines against their rivals....the outlander is not the rival to the Sportsman 800 EFI, as Bombardier sales aren't nearly that of either manufacturer, therefore compare it where the sales are going, same thing on the 700's, the Suzuki is the main rival, also with the 500's, the foreman has been around forever and has great sales...and the 450's, the Yamaha is their mid size flagship with great sales....
