VIPER 90R Four Stroke (RX4-90R)

WOW, way overpriced. I think it's just a Sunl-90 with slightly different plastic, no headlight and front drum brakes. Could be wrong, but it's so close how could anyone pay 3 times the money? Don't like the single speed trans either.

It is only $50.00 more than the 2 stroke version, and almost as powerful stock(modded wil be another story) The single speed tranny is a CVT, so no worries there. Seems like a decent quad to me.

If you can, wait until Feb / March (or later) of '06 to let a few folks drive them around the post their feedback. The picture is nice but the "real proof" in any newly released product is "in the real world". Hopefully, their new 4-stroke engine is as solid as E-Ton's 2-stroke reputation. Only time will tell....

The link showed an MSRP of 2249. That's more than 3 times what Sunl 90's sell for in Houston. I recently picked up a new one for $400, but they typically go for 700 or so. This 90 looks very similar, hard to see how it could be worth 3 times the money.

Yes it is amazing isn't it?
You obviously don't have any experience with Chinese ATVs based on your statements. Most are not junk, and they are extremely inexpensive. The Sunl 90 has certainly not turned out to be junk. It will easily pull the front wheels off the ground in 2nd with an adult on it.

Is that all one sentence?
I've seen the Chinese stuff up close, real close for almost a year. I own 3 of them, and 2 of them are definately good youth ATVs. The 3rd is mine. Seeing one at a show doesn't qualify you to speak on the subject.
