Default paddles for 730 big bore

Hi everyone, recently purchased a 730 big bore and am very impressed with the hp. I weigh 140 lb and currently have 20-11-10 sand skate II paddles that are ok after 3rd gear but no good for hole shot. I have read in previous posts that the 22- 11-10 skat-trak extreme haulers are the way to go for drag racing. With my light weight what would work better 8 or 10 paddle???? Any feed back would be great.

I would say with a stock swingarm for hillshooting go with the 8 paddles.

If your running an extended swingarm the 8 or 9 paddles should do the trick.

If your running a stock swingarm for flat drags go with the 8 paddles.

If your running an extended swingarm the 10 paddles or maybe even some 12 paddles will get you out the hole fairly quick...depending on the lenght of the arm. Hope this helps.

Think about getting some comp cut 21", 9 paddle Padla Brats.

They are made by the same Co. as your Sand Skates.

Hook up is awsome and they are lighter than chit.

I am not so sure about that lighter than chit statement because my Chit is heavy

I have not run them personally. But, I have seen and talked to guys who have ran them and they are a very good tire just depending on sand conditions and of course horsepower has a lot to do with paddle size and how many paddles that your looking to run.
