how do I get my throttle cable in this pwk 39? scrammy

I cut the bung off the end and threaded mine through. my dealer had motion pro barrels that could be clamped into place. I also learned a piece of the metal from a but connector works well also.

I got rid of the stock cable, the reaction got really slow and after about 3 months of no oil injection my throttle stuck and I went into my fence. I'm presently using a z400 clutch cable I fabbed up to work.
I really have to for that reason suggest using a new cable. I did get the stocker to fit the PWK however by grinding the end of it down anough to press into the nut type thing that attaches to the slide. grind it alittle press it in place with a set of pliers. then screw it onto the slide and after that install the spring be threading it around the cable. I found this to be the easiest way. I however take no responsibility if you almost go through privacy fence like I did. (small yard)

one other thing on the stock cable, there is a cylinder section at the bottom a space and a ball section towards the top. the ball section is what I had to grind down actually off very carefully. good luck.
