Default NEW TOY HAULER

we are coming down to little sahara oct 26th thru 29th i sold my motorhome and bought a 31' toy hauler, i know i will miss my monster diesel pusher but with 2-3 weeks of vacation a year what was i thinking? buying such a monster money sucking machine, i sold it to a retired couple who plan on living in it half the year where it's warm. the toy hauler has a generator, roof air, fully self contained and in a pinch sleeps up to 10+ people (not that many ds owners because we tend to be on the larger side) check out the pic's on my page 2nd row center. look for us in the north camp ground later this week.

Sweet hauler, my wife and I are looking at a 28 footer for glamis this year. Nothing like being able to unhook and run into town if you need. And they offer most of the comforts of a big coach.

Default NEW TOY HAULER

from the day i picked up my pusher coach it gave me trouble, it would not run off idle til the temp was up 1/4 or more and then every time i started off from a stop it would hesitate and miss fire (always huffing smoke) also the fuel milage dropped off to 6 mpg. our last trip out west to utah-idaho it took 2-3 miles to get it up to speed and even then there was no power. i took it back 4-5 times to freightliner with no success? they told me to remove the rear bed and floor and bring it back again i took it back to my dealer told them to handle this NOW!!! he asked why don't you sell it? because i don't want to loose my azz i replied. he said i have a customer that wants a used tiffin coach and would sell it for me! at this time i was sick and tired of the 1 1/2 hour long drives to the frieghtliner dealer and said fine get me X$$ amount of cash and i'll let it go!!! 3 days later he call's said i have a check for you come and get it the folks that bought it knew it had a problem but were ok with getting it fixed (thought it would be no problem) i talked to the chassis mechanic last week and he said they have replaced everything from the injectors to the computor including a new turbo and sensor's ect and it still runs like chit. i feel sorry for the people but just glad i'm not running it down the road anymore. i ordered the toy hauler soon after selling the bus and really like it!! not as fancy but it will work just fine and with the extra cash i saved i am buying more rental proporties. not to say one day i wont buy another coach just right now the trailer works just fine.

p.s. sorry didn't mean to right a book

I like toy haulers for their water capacity and most have fuel stations. However, with that said I do not plan to purchase one. I would rather buy a MH because my wife and I are planning to do allot more traveling next year and beyond. When we get our MH it will be 28 ft and not a Diesel...

Looking at a 28 foot hauler myself. Nothing wrong with our MH, just a gas hog. Plus, if we wanted to drive to town or somewhere it meant bringing a second vehicle. Sharp looking hauler Jeffroe.
