i have a early blaster around a 89-92 but how do I tell the year by the Vin#

 

Yea, if you write down the vin # and call a dealer they should be able to tell you. I have done it before with dirtbikes, so I'm assuming they can do the same with atv's.

 

i assume their is a letter someplace in the VIN, that tells year, anyone know which it is and what they stand for?

 

I think the VIN # on a blaster is down near the left peg on the frame? I could be wrong. I also thought the 10 digit in the VIN # will tell you what year it is. Don't quote me because I'm not sure.

 

Yes its the 10th...........Post just the 10th digit.

 

What color is the blaster? That could tell you a lot. I think the early 90's were a teal green with white. I know 1995 were purple. Search for pictures on the web for what year you think your blaster is. ASK.COM could help you out.
