Well I broke my bike again so untill I get new a arms and shocks I'm out for 2005. There is only one race left this year anyway so I will most likely hold 9th in the state for amature class. Oh well next year will be better.

Ah man that's a bummer. I hate missing races when your running a series. Hey at least it isn't you that are broke! A indoor winter series is starting up in 2 weeks here and I don't even know if Im going to be able to race for sure due to a injury. I crashed in practice last Saturday and possibly messed my shoulder up.

Well I look at it this way. I've had to miss a few races before for one reason or another. But what really grinds my gears is when I'm all setup and ready to race and then the event gets cancelled 2 days before.
What happened with your stock yfz fronts? Blow out on you? Had they been revalved yet?

I broke the bottom eye on the shock when the a arm got tacoed so I will need to fix that but while I'm at it I am gonna get a gold valve implant and go full synth oil. I also want to get the tripple rate spring kit to put on the yfz shocks as soon as works gets them made which I was tod will be in 4 to 6 weeks. I think that upgrade and some +2+1 a-arms will have the front in real good shape, and then a steering damper too.

1.) Get to the race and have practice, then it will start storming right after and cancel the race.
2.) Be really fast in practice only to have a lifter drop or something else fail in the beginning of the 1st heat when you are leading!
You wouldn't believe how many times I lost a win over weather or mechanical issues. But at least since I have been racing motocross, I have not had any of these issues yet.
Maddog, do you just do ice races or have you done other forms of racing? I think we have talked about it but I forget.

I have run a few different types in the past but since I switched to a four stroke its been all sand drags and ice. I was planning on trying my hand at xc/hs but I ended up with a different build that I had originally planned that isnt so woods friendly.
