I dont have any pics of it yet. Dont even have paint on it yet. Pretty much just finished up the fab work on it.
The motor is an 02 GSXR 1000. The frame started out as an 01 Rappy.
This was actually the first time I even rode the bike with the new motor. It was a sand dragstrip.
We did OK with it. Took 1rst place on the unlimited class. I broke the shifter just before the race so I just ran the bike in 2nd gear. Kept hitting the rev limiter about 3/4 track. LOL

What kind of times did it run?

 

We just barely got the bike ready to run for that race, which was the last race of the season for us around here.
I wasnt expecting the bike to be in "Race Ready" shape yet.
Our gearing was a guess at that point and the suspension setup is nowhere near being dialed in.
We just basically borrowed the shocks and swingarm from low HP Rappy.
Besides, like I stated in an earlier post, I broke the stupid shifter so I could only run 2nd gear and topped out at 3/4 track.
So I guess given all that I wasn't really discouraged when we only ran 4.7s.
We can do MUCH , MUCH better than that. IM sure.
