sounds like you have a pretty crappy dealer, not to mention you deffenetly got a Lemon. call up polaris and bitch at them, dont let htem get the better of you, bitch at them, and bitch at them some more. they'll pull a super warrenty on it or replace it. if they wont, strike up a lawyer and declair Lemon Laws

if your dealer wont stand up for your warrenty or wont fix it, take it to Waynes Powersports in La Grange (next to louisville) great guys, talk to Jeremy, he'll take care of you.

i've heard of people shredding the 800 belts when new, actually one of the magazines that tested it when it first came out shredded a belt...

i think the fix is to adjust the deflection, etc. correctly, which the dealer should be able to do....

I've got 1020 miles on my '05 700 EFI and even after getting it stuck yesterday in quicksand/mud....i reamed the hell out of it and the belt still held up, the original belt....i carry a spare, but want to see how many miles the factory belt gets on it....granted, the 700 belt is different....at least for 2006 i think it is...

The dealer/Polais better replace the belt, I didn't think 114 miles could possibly be enough time to need a new belt, it must have been a defective belt. You should really try and get them to replace the whole ATV, you've had to many problems in to little time....15 days...don't let them give it back until everything is the way it is suposed to be or make them give you a new one.
