Just came back from the downtown trick or treat and businesses wasn't passing out much candy. Most of the stores that passed out candy in the past wasn't this year. What a rip off. What's up with that. Oh and happy halloween .

i feel that Halloween is a dying event. it doesnt seem like as many people get into anymore. i remember when i was a kid, i loved it and never could get enough candy but it seems as if some of the newer generation is letting it go. just my 02 cents

Don't be a pumpkin grinch. We used to go back home and empty our bags and go again. I think parents are more cautious of their kids today. Every kid we had at the door, the parents were out there. We don't even go to parties anymore. Sort of like new years, you just stay off the road. Wow, did I say that? I'm getting old.

yeah i can remember having tons of candy and even willing to change costumes when we found a house that gave away the best and most candy. we loved it and couldnt get enough of it, but now it seems that it is just slowly going down hill to what it used to be. i can understand since there are those idiots that try to ruin it for everyone and that makes the parents very cautious, so i guess that is just more proof that "times are changing"
