Wrecked rappy really bad tonight
#1
Well I hate to say it I wrecked my bike pretty bad. tonight I was showing off in a parking lot, riding wheelies and stuff like that and just going too fast. Well I rode a wheelie through third then shifted into fourth and gave her hell and it stood straight up on me at about 65 and my grab bar was already broken off so he bike flipped backwards but not all the way over, it flipped on to its side and rolled 5 times and hit a curb. I was tossed from the bike and slide on the asphalt and hit the same curb. I will deffenitly say that sliding on asphalt at 65 is not wat you may think it is, it is worse. The damage, really bent handle bars, my rear plastic isn't just scraped and bent but it is scraped and torn in the rear, broke taillight, broken tie rod, broken in half A arm, and my controls are all sorts of torn up on the left side, and there may be more but I havent even looked at the damage yet in the light, but when we rolled the bike over it started right up on the first try. Then my damage both knees have no skin left, left elbow has no skin, left forearm is all torn up and may need a skin graft, right rist has some pretty bad road rash, dislocated right shoulder, and miscelladious cuts and bruises. With in a minute of the crash the police were already there. they measured and said that I skid 125 feet across the pavement. My coat is torn to shreds. But I got out of it with minor injuries and a pretty big lecture from the police. They said that they have never seen anybody get up after a crash like that(thank god i had a helmet on). But the good thing was that the girls, gave me lots of attention afterwards. I am just happy that I got out of it alive. Now I just need to search for new rear plastic and a set of A arms and tie rods. I am guessing that there is about 900 in damage to the bike it sucks. The moral of this story is to not show off.

Wow, glad you're not worse than you are. I wouldnt think you could sit down and type all of that out.
Not to rain more on your day, but after something like that I'd be awfully surprised if your frame isnt bent or at the very least tweaked up front.

I hope not on the frame. I am not really hurting to bad right because I already had torn cartilage, and a torn ligament in the shoulder that I disloctated. I have surgery for that shoulder 2 weeks from friday and the doctors already have me on some pretty heavy pain killers for that reason. So right after the accident i just took my pain killers and the took a little extra so at the moment I feel fine, Im just a little out of it. But tommorow morning it will be interesting to see how I feel. Right now I just really hope I did not tweak the frame.

Yeah the ladies thought I was a bada$$ when I got up after that, they loved it, but I didn't. Just wait till tommorow when I am really sore, I might just have to call them all up for a hot tub party.

Sounds like you had a little bit of brain damage before the wreck. Just kidding, glad you're ok.
Sounds like you need to go on an Ebay shopping spree. The frame is pretty strong, you will probably be ok in that area. I would bet you may have bent your rear axle though.

WTF is the difference? You can wreck a new quad just as well as a used one. I'm not getting your point here.
Diesel, glad to hear you survived, sounds like a hard learned lesson. That's the way I've learned all mine-The hard way
It's just so hard to resist, showin off for the gals

His point is lots of people have a train wreck, add new plastic, and post a 4 sale sign. You never really know why your quad doesn't feel quite right because you don't suspect a tweaked frame.
