My 15 nossal is reading around 3.0 on the meter. Im installing a 20 shot today where should the meter be. Sh ould i get it close to the range 2.5 3.0? When the number goes up say 4.0 is that running richer or leaner? They recomend 2.5 or so on the meter, so does the higher The number you go past 2.5 leans it or richens it ? this is whats happens when you dont keep up with your stuff.

The higher the number on the manometer, the more gasoline pressure - which is MORE rich. 2.5 is normal for a 12:1 piston. Jed runs 3.5 I believe on his 13:1 piston.

Im running 3.5 on a 25 shot. No problems yet! except the bottle runs out faster You wont beleive the difference from 15 to 20, 20 to twenty five. Be careful and really listen to it . Do a plug chop to be sure your not burning off the tips of the plugs (to lean). Better to be a little rich on meter just to be safe.

Dont forget to go one step cooler on the plug and a little higher octane than what you would normally run for the piston you have. Jed and Keith dont have too many problems because both of thier carbs are pretty stable. If you run a carb thats unstable and more sensitive to temperature changes, Nitrous will amplify this. The TM45, Lectron and Stock carbs for the DS all work really well with the Boondocker stet up.

Make sure you have easy access to test on your lines so that you can test when you think you need to. Take the Manometer with you in your gear bag so that you can always test if you think there may be a problem. If anything, it will give you peace of mind.

Have fun!
