Is it worth doing??

I'm considering adding wheel spacers on all 4, and lowering brackets to front of my Raptor. Would that better the handleing characteristics, or perhaps cause a different type of handleing problem?
I can't quite justify spending the cash to do it the right way (shocks, a-arms). I consider myself a good rider (of course), better than average, and less than expert. I like to ride trails, tracks, and fire roads. I enjoy the jumps, but am getting a little old for going after the Big Air. :-(
Is it worth the money to do these mod's, and will it make signifigant difference?
Thanks for the advice.

Yes it will work better because you are lowering your center of gravity and widening it for better stability. Although these parts are not intended for use in making "H-Bomb" videos as the shocks (Elkas, axis, PEP) are geared for hard core abuse, not the stocker. Without a decent shock and airing it out could prove the shock and your lowering bracket unreliable. Since you are not going to be doing this, I think you are fine. I would talk to someone who has them or see if they can put you in-touch with a tech-rep, to answer any questions that may concern you. But for your riding style I think your safe.
