Quite possibly the stupidest question ever......

I was telling my buddy that some posters on this board thought I could get a 400 ex for around $2,500.00. He said "go ahead, I can destroy you in a drag".
My buddy has an '04 Arctic Cat 500. Who would win in a race?
Disclaimer: My buddy can be an arrogant ***. I know asking this question is a little silly, but I just want to prove him wrong.
Thanks!!!!!!

Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question. Just stupid people that ask questions. j/k

Well, if memory serves me right, that is the same engine as in the Vinson, but pushing another 100 lbs of metal. The only way I could see him beating you is if you race on a really loose/slick surface and he uses 4x. Heck, you could probably beat that quad with a Warrior if you are good at launches.

Well it all depends on what your fried means by "drag". If you two play tug-o-war he will indeed "drag" you and your quad up the mountain.
I know your talking about racing and you allready know the answer to that one.
