I was telling my buddy that some posters on this board thought I could get a 400 ex for around $2,500.00. He said "go ahead, I can destroy you in a drag".
My buddy has an '04 Arctic Cat 500. Who would win in a race?

Can't remember how much the A Cat weighs, but you probably have at least a 200 pound or so advantage on him!

 

Well, if memory serves me right, that is the same engine as in the Vinson, but pushing another 100 lbs of metal. The only way I could see him beating you is if you race on a really loose/slick surface and he uses 4x. Heck, you could probably beat that quad with a Warrior if you are good at launches.

 

I own a cat 500 and the only way the cat is beating the 400ex on dry ground is in reverse! Excluding the new ex's with reverse

 

Well it all depends on what your fried means by "drag". If you two play tug-o-war he will indeed "drag" you and your quad up the mountain.

I know your talking about racing and you allready know the answer to that one.
