Default Newbie Predator questions

As some of you know I just bought my 06 GNCC LE Pred. I am putting on AC pro peg nerfs and a Uni filter. It comes with the White bros slip on stock. If I put on the Uni filter and remove the spark arrestor do I have to rejet ? If so what is the common change ? And should I wait until it's broken in to take out the spark arrestor and rejet or does it matter ?
Thanks for the help. I really appreciate your help.

I would wait until it's broken in. Then put on your uni filter. I would keep your spark arrestor in but take out the quite core, which is the add on after the pipe but before the disks. Your Pred comes stock with a 150mj which is generally rich from the factory. I'm not familar with the altitude in Tampa I would guess under 500ft, so the 150mj should be OK. Try it but keed a close eye on your plug. If it's white your lean (not good) black your rich paper bag brown your good.

I would leave it alone for a bit......until it is good and broken in.........then you can remove all of the disks and stuff(and get a turn down tip for best performance......pm RAJ for more details)......I would have went with the twin air filter myself.....

After you mod the intake and exhaust, you will need to rejet.....or atleast go check it.....and see. run it hard.....shut it off immeadiatly.....then check plug(no ideling)........I'd guess you'll need to be around the 162.5 to 165mj area......and a 50pj...........

Tampa is about 45 feet above sea level. I'm gonna leave it be until it's broken in. From there I'll definitely be removing that quiet core, putting on the filter, and checking the jetting. Thanks guys.

Cain73 welcome to the Predator side. I have found that the power on the Predator is about the same as the DS it just revs quicker and longer. It should move faster in the woods than that DS did and you will like the reverse
