new sportsman 800 le
Picked up my new silver and black sportsman thursday, Its a hell of a quad. I allmost steered to the brute, man im glad i didnt. I come as close as taking the brute home and took it back. And i dont care if the bomb out runs the sportsman I didnt get it for racing. This sportsman 800 is a pretty 4X4.

i think you made the right choice....i've spent some time on the BF 750 is the suspension is just too poor for a utility machine, for any machine as far as thats concerned....
the sportsman line are true utility machines, handle alot, two alot, have excellent front and rear storage, they are the workhorse of the utility vehicles...
what i really hate is magazines that test these machines, I don't mind them doing speed tests, etc....but test them for what they are to be used for....
a recent magazine test just tested the sportsman 800 against the new Outlander 800, the rated the Sportsman 800 over almost everything on the Outlander, but they did it right....loaded racks, climbing at altitude, hauling, towing, etc....
I still think the Outlander 800 is a good machine once they work out their problems...one of them is like the BF, which is the suspension, but another magazine just tested the BF vs the Outlander and they said the Outlander is worlds above the BF....so that tells you about the BF.....Plus no offense to you Kawasaki guys, but alot of listed problems in the Kawa forum on the BF...

We have a brand new '06 Sportsman 800 LE in our garage right now too! We have some pics of it in our pics link. It is a beautiful machine. Hubby just put a winch and a radiator guard on it today. It is a special silver color with black trim.....
