ok im 14 and ive always wanted since i was 10. i couldnt get one until i had a job and now i do. the thing is i want to get a z400 and ive riddin a 450r and was cool but alot of power for me for now. but back in september i tried to get finaced and didnt because of stupid credit, and the one dealer that we went to said to try back in spring again should we listen to them or got to another dealer and try in the winter cause i have heard that its a good time to buy. any tips this time when i try agian.

why not try getting 1 used u can find a nice z400 in good shape with some aftermarket parts for like 3500

 

i would but i dont have all that money up front like that. im close to about 1000 bucks in the next couple weeks, so i am shooting for a new 05 that has been left over at the dealership.

 

Don't be discouraged if the dealer refuses to sell one to you. At your age, he could lose his franchise license for not following the CPSI guidelines. It is voluntary, but manufacturers take it real serious...

You might consider a blaster.. they are cheaper, under 3K new. There are lots of hop up parts for them, in stock form they are quick, light and are a blast to ride. I know 200 CC doesn't sound like a lot.. but do not sell them short.

 

im not a real big fan of blasters but the guy didnt even know it was for me in the first place.
