Kazuma ATV's come with their air filters un-oiled. If you are new to ATV's or a grandparent buying for your grand kids, the air filters need to be oiled to keep dirt out and your engine will last longer. This is a very easy process and air filter oil and cleaner can be purchased at any motorcycle/ATV shop.

I have two different year Kazuma' for my kids. [great bikes, no major problems] Both came with un-oiled air fitlers which isn't a big deal, however; there isn't anything in the owners manual instructing owners to oil the filters.

The first thing I did was order clamp on filters for these atv's. The airbox on these are very poor and let alot of dirt in. Very cheap investment.

You can go direct to the K&N site and buy a filter for your atv. All you need is measure the size of the carb flange and how long you want the filter to be. They have hundreds of filters for just about every application.

Thanks for the info. Did you have to rejet after the filter mod?
