Default Artic cat 400 tb

I'm looking at buying a '06 400 auto TB , I think thats right , any way its the most basic model they make . It doesn't have a speedometer or a odometer. How important are these . Maintenence & oil changes ??? Also where is there any trails in upstate or northern New York . Are they good for ice fishing . Is there any special preparation for winter use. Any info would be HELPFULL.

they are good for ice fishing and winter use and the only preperation you could do for cold engine starting is put thinner oil in it which i used to do with my old suzuki. and well about the trails in upstate new york i would post in the section of Where to Ride? and about the maintanence and oil changes and stuff go to the Arctic Cat part. everyone has their own opinion on changing oil and maintanence me i change after the first 200 miles then about every 500 miles or so after that. i am bad with this atv i have 1700 miles and have changed the oil once and i gotta get that changed will probably do it this spring when the snow thaws.
