500 EFI vs the cold
#1
when I first got it, I did not have anyproblem with it staying on nov 5. Now that it has gotten cold it will not stay on when it is cold at idle. I thought that since it was an efi it would not have a problem staying on when cold. when it finally warm up it stay on. is this a common problem. and how long do it take for it to warm up?
ON a good note it is putting my cousin's 02 700 in place from the jump. It take him about 50 yds to catch up with me.

you need to take your machine in to the dealer, the problem you are experiencing is not normal at all...
I have a 2005 700 EFI and it runs great, starts great, and idles great in either warm or cold....
the dealer can reload your maps for you or diagnose your problem by connecting the computer to it...

OK did the key trick and nothing happen. I am staring to wonder if i should have went with a carb. my bother is not having any problems with his 05 carb 500. I know that this is a new machine but i thought that they work out all the problems with the 700 and 800 efi.

i picked-up my new 500EFI yesterday and thought the front tire looked low. sure as $hit only 3 PSI in the right front. both are supposed to be set a 5 PSI.
i questioned the Dealer the next day. he said the gauge on their air hose isn't that accurate.
