What is up with the new forum pages. It makes the post screen smaller because they put ads on the side instead of the top. Not likeing it!!!

Since they moved to the right Im getting used to it now. Ads pay the bills so just a part of it, as long as they dont do pop-ups I wont complain[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I dont mind the ads. I guess I can get used to it. My wife says I need glasses but now I guess I really need them. Maybe just a bigger monitor would work.

Why do the ads say "sponsored ad "above each one? Are there unsponsored ads or is a legal issue?

There seems to be a large amount of wasted screen space with the advertisements. I have to scroll down a page and a half to get to each forum now. Ill bet you could squeeze all those ads into less than half a page. Does the atv connection forum banner really need to be in the forums?
Also Ive noticed that half of the ads at the top are blanked out and it say there is a url filter denying access to the space. Does anyone else get that or is that a web filter?

 

Might as well have the ads there. It would look funny not to have anything under the messenger thing, not to mention waste space. Who really cares about the ads anyways, you don't have to click them if you don't want, they're not pop ups (Which I'm greatful of, but I have 2 blockers anyways.) and they help pay for us to all sit here and bitch about them, LOL
