Default TRX450 MX Ready?

Hi, Some questions about the new TRX450, On european forums, I can't find much technical info, so here are my questions :

I Try to compare the '05 model with the '06 one
- Is the linkage better, When going trough some whoops (repeated rolling bumps), does it still try to trow the rider off as much?
- Are the A-arms the same as model '05 ?
- What is you total opinion about model '06 ?
I'm trying to get a good image of the quad before buying one.

Thanks alot

Erwin

i have an 05 and i know a few people that have an 06,from what i heard and seen i dont thind that there is a lot of difference. if ur buying a new one get a left over 05 trx and save some cash. then to be mx ready, you need to decide how serious and competetive u want to be, its all in money and how u want set up ur bike lots of stuff factors in to that

The 06' recieved a bunch of changes that really made the entire quad an improvement. The engine is much closer to it's dirtbike cousin now. I'd get an 06' if I was buying one, I would think the couple hundred extra you would spend will be worth. Not to mention the 06' will probably hold a little bit better resale value.

They made alot of changes yes but noticable, i dont think so, personally for mx, if u set up a 05 and an 06 and put two competetive riders at the same skill level on them u will probably not see a huge difference at all. im gettin my 450 motor built after indoors and gettin everything powdercoated and shocks etc. no sense in buying an 06 and wasting couple extra hunderd when an 05 can compete fine with an 06 and thats extra money for aftermarket goodies

of course a brand new bike is gonna handle better than a bike thats 2yrs old, thats a given. i bought an 05 and it felt great compared to my 400ex(03 redone in 04) which has pep (zps) suspension,jb arms and swingarm ,rpm axle, full race 426 motor, steering stablizer, all the pimp goodies, and i would chose a stock 450 over that any day, and on the track it can hang with 450s

what im sayin is i got a fully set up race quad, thats set up for mx, looks great and can hang easy with 450s in the b class, and i did it for a full race season, and i would choose a stock 450 over it any day. but think about it ,u had an 04 rode it for roughly 1 1/2 - 2 years and u go get a brand new 06(fresh berrings, fresh seals, new ball joints all the critical points of movement are all fresh and havent had any abuse, FRESH MOTOR, theres no play at all) NOW THINK ABOUT THAT 04 OF YOURS AND HOW MUCH U RODE AND ABUSED IT, THEN TELL ME HOW THEY ARE GONNA HANDLE THE SAME AND FEEL THE SAME,then u should see what im sayin.

set up 400ex and stock 450 not the best combination for comparison i know im sorry
but 04 to 06 think about what im sayin
