What should I buy Polaris 700 twin or Brute Force 750
#1
I am a big guy 6'5" 385 lbs. I'm looking at the Brute Force 750 or the Polaris 700 twin. Which one would be best for me. The Polaris seems more heavy duty.

Yes the Polaris is more HD, hence the +150 lbs.
Just bump up the preload on the rear shocks about 3 or 4 notches.
The sp700 is roomy, has bigger racks and better storage also.

brute 750. its has much more power and is dependable. they say the brute is a little swirly at high speeds but a big wheel kit will fix that and you can purchase the big wheel kit with the money you save by buying the brute. also the brute has a wet brake system on the rear the is virtully maintenance free. now that said if your only going to use your atv for farm work and heavyduty activity with little trail or mud riding go with polaris. polaris has way to many issues with belts boots and bearing if you like having fun on your atv.

I don't understand all the why guys say there so many issues with a Polaris.
I have had one for over five years, plowed and snow gravel. Rode miles of woods, rock, and swamps. Jumped it over six feet in the air and never had an issue yet. I change the fluids and keep my foot of the belt cover (So you don't break the seals) I have changed the battery once, and bought two more since then for wife and kids.
The bottom line is you do get what you pay for, and then take care of that what you ride!
Good luck on your choice.

ALL THE ATV MAGAZINES RATE THE POLARIS BETTER IN ALL CATAGORIES. AND I ALSO CANT BELIEVE PEOPLE STILL TALK SMACK ABOUT POLARIS AS MUCH AS THEY DO.
I HAVE HAD MY SP 700 CARB FOR A YEAR AS WELL AS MY ATP 330.NO PROBLEMS HERE AT ALL.
WHAT I DO KNOW ABOUT THE BRUTE FORCE IS THAT MY SP 700 IS FASTER, SMOOTHER RIDING,HAS MORE CLEARANCE, MORE TOWING CAPACITY, MORE RACK CAPACITY, MORE REAR SPRING ADJUSTMENT, AND IS GREAT LOOKING TOO.
I AM ALSO A BIG GUY 245 LBS AND 6'2" TALL.
I HAVE ABOUT TEN FRIENDS WITH POLARIS AND NONE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH BELTS OR ANY THING ELSE. THERE IS THIS THING CALLED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE..... DO IT AND THERE IS NO PROBLEMS

WOW did I just have a brain fart. I mean the AC650 H1. Im getting mixed up with the Pol 800. If it were between the BF750, Pol700 and AC650. The 650 feels like it has just as much power as the BF and handles great. It would be even better with the front and rear cargo box.

do you mean the BRP 800? this is the second time i have heard of an articcat 800 but its not on there site and i have never seen one in a mag. or even at the dealer..

I have heard that the rear shock tabs come off on the brute force. I ride with a guy with a prairie 650 and had all kinds of problems . Belts to brakes. there are good and bad in all machines. If you like it buy it and good luck with it. I bought a polaris last spring SP700carb and it is great. 7 machines where bought after mine and we all ride together and no problems. I rode many machines from ATC 125s to quadracers tobanshees kodiaks, grizzlys. to hondas. None are any better built then Polaris. I liked the polaris so I bought it. any problems come up I fix it end of story. Every brand is the same. good luck with the purchace

considering your size, I would definately lean towards the Polaris, I use mine for mostly grunt work with heavy loads and I've yet to be stranded. the extra weight means unmatched traction and the AWD is a great system. I have no experience with the Brute, but looking at the two bikes side by side in the show room it's clear Polaris is the Heavy Duty machine by a large margin. to me the weight is not a drawback even when trail riding or speeding around. mine steers a bit heavy but the newer ones are much easier to steer according to what I have read.
