Default Flat repair question

Did my first flat repair.
It the kind where you use a T-handle and needle to put in a strip of cord with cement on it.

Questions:
1. How long should I wait before putting air in the tire?

2. How long before should I wait before driving the machine without worry about the repair not being completely set?

i do that type of plugging WITH air in the tire. it's a little messy but at least i know it's plugged right when the air stops spitting-out.

pump it up right-away, plug it, top it off to the correct PSI, wait a few min for it to dry, then cut the plug ALMOST flush with the tire.

your ready to go!

I do the same. Except I leave a 1/2 inch sticking out.

The plug is made from uncured rubber. Once the tire warms up it will cure and stick to the rubber tire. You can ride the quad as soon as the plug is installed.
