Well, whenever I got my DS, I was 5'11" & 150lbs and loved it.....Now, Im working on getting it down to my weight, . No, seriously though, I liked the DS just the way it was, but once I started.....I just couldnt stop. I didnt find the machine too big or awkward. Just the blip of the throttle would sling it around fairly easy...even in stock form. But, I didnt buy the DS to trailride either. I bought it to drag race....and drag race I do, Hope this helped,

I as well am 5'-8" tall and only weigh 145lbs. I do alot of trail riding and up and down hills, I also like the occasional drag race. I will tell ya that the ride is pretty cool, but it is a workout to manhandle that hog. The work involved to ride it all day is worth it though. The power, the ride and comfort is unmatched. Thats my dollars worth of info. RUSS

I don't think you have enough A$$ to kick start a LT500. LOL j/k

The LT will be faster

the DS will handle better and has much better suspension.

BIgger.

I know i drove a LT500 and they are a hard kick over it hurts your foot:-(.
fast and fun though:-D. which is heavier LT500 or DS650?
how much faster is the LT than the DS?
