800 "bugs" so far??
#1
OK, I was excited when the 800 was first announced but since I already have too many quads I have held back so far. I also see where they have already had a few "bugs". There was a recall on the clutch, problem fixed, then I heard something about the front suspension??
I thought the Baja 1000 would be a good test for this machine, unfortunately sounds like BRP wasn't too well prepared?? Defective tires? Sounds a little bit odd to me, could these quads be prone to eating tires or something?? I saw only one 800 finished, the others had "tire" problems and one blew an engine???.....I'd like to get a bit more detaled info. on this if anyone has it.

At 11hrs and 85miles mine is still just as it left the showroom.
It has been:
In the river many times, 18" plus of water
In the mud several times
Hauled two deer out of the woods
GPS's at 72.4 mph, (more left but backed off)
rode five miles of wheelies (may be 10)
launched off our 4" loading ramp several times, lands nice, shocks feel GRRRREAT, I'm 6'2" 200lbs for comparison
Do I give it five stars, not yet, if it still runs like this after 100hrs and 700miles it gets six.

I can't believe they chose ITP ATR's, while they are a good tire they are far from being the most puncture prone. They blew most of their tires saying they came from a bad batch that got mixed in with good ones.
