I have a 05 Foreman and was wondering what aftermarket parts would be a good addition.I already have tires and wheels so anything else that stands out to you guys that I should have list it.I mainly use it for hunting but I hunt in the mountains with a lot of mud holes and boulders to climb.My wife wants to buy me something for it for Chrstmas but not sure what to ask for.

K&N air filter and a jet kit. If you do alot of hunting I'd stay clear of the pipe mod. Those two mods above should wake it up considerably for you.

 

well are you having trouble gettin through the mud? And nothing against gettin pipes or anything but if your hunting you might want to think about pipes cause most aftermarket pipes are louder than the stock...but get the k&N that would do nothing but give you a little more juice.

 

The way you use it, I would think a winch would be the first thing on your list.

4atvtires.com had the lowest price I could find, back when I got mine anyway.

 

Will a winch bolt right up to mine without needing a new bumper?That would be nice to have.

Yes, you will just need a winch mount plate. You can pick one up for about $45-50 shipped to your door.

Warn or Ramsey, Ramsey is the cadilac of winches. I think they have wireless winches for quads too. Warn may not. Anybody know?

 

I went with the Warn 2.5. I think I gave $325 for the winch with the roller head and the mount plate, with shipping. Seems to have more than enough power to pull it out of anything, but from what I understand the 3.0 Warn has better water seals.

Install was a bit of a pain, but it ended up really nice looking, tucked in behind the bumper. There are a couple of photos in my gallery that show the winch...
