Well we bought our first atv ever this past october. It was great, we love to skate at the cabin so we thought the traxster with a snow removal kit would be great. We own 4 formula ski-doos and luv them too, so we went with the traxster.

Wow what a piece of junk the damn thing cant even start when its -15degress celcius. Call the dealer, he says yeah there pretty tough to get started in the winter. Just pull in the garage and let it warm up, to bad we dont have a garage.


What to do? we have a atv we loved but is totally useless to us in the state it is in. We have no place to keep it warm nothing, it has no pull start and has known troubles starting in the winter.


Is there in inline radiator heater we could install, or something else that would help us out.


Any ideas welcome, the damn ski-doos start when its -25degrees no problem even with electric start.

buy a engine block heater, or a polaris sportsman 500 700 or 800 with EFI.
but back to the block heater, all you do it install it and plug it in at night so in the morning it will start easy. hope it works.
