I'm looking for a set of 23" front sand tires on some ITP wheels for my DS. Will they fit with the fenders? No biggie if they won't. I'm having some problems finding sand tires in 23"

 

AMS makes them. Look on rocky mountain atv website.

23 X 7 X 10 is that what I should use for a 23" tire?

 

I have them on my DS and they are perfect when you have 22" rears. It sets the bike perfectly. Going down a dune with a 22 or 21 in front with the 22" in the rear it tends to dart a bit left to right. I have my front springs set to 0 preload so it also makes things worse when the weight shifts forward on them. The 23" fronts made a monster difference. I have the whipsnakes.

What's the difference between the tires you have and the Diamondtrak?

 

Yes they work fine, my last pic shows them on. I love the look without them, so they are staying off. In the sand you never get hit with anything, so they are pointless at the dunes. In the mud.......lets just say I found out you need them.

 

Did you weigh them to see what the weight difference between stock and them? Just wondering..... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

No I didn't, but I had 22"Dune trackers on before, and they felt about the same. You wouldnt believe the size difference....huge.
